Are You Proportionally Challenged?

Do you suffer from a baggy bottom when wearing a one piece swimsuit? Or maybe it feels tight and uncomfortable?

This is a clear indication that you are either short bodied (baggy bottom) or long bodied (digging and pinching). I teach our clients how to dress to give the illusion of perfect proportions.

A one piece can be challenging for both short and long bodies so try a two piece or tankini instead.

Summer Blues

Nothing says summer more than aqua, jade, teal, peacock and duck egg. The good news is that we all receive at least one from this color family. But do you know your best shade? Moreover, do you know how to wear it? The beauty about the tonal system is, the answer lies in the name of each dominant.

Lights: keep your look delicate and wear peacock with a lighter shade such as light apricot
Deeps: combine teal with a deeper color such as chocolate
Warms: ‘warm up’ aqua with lime
Cools: ‘cool down’ light teal with cassis
Clears: create contrast and brightness to duck egg by combining with charcoal
Softs: soften jade by wearing tonally with cocoa

Fashion Loopholes

the string bag taking over from its raffia sister? Probably not, but this style is proving popular this year. At just £15, this H&M cutie will elevate a simple outfit. The insert also makes it practical.

Tip: If you have a plain string bag already, consider lining it with a colourful scarf that complements your outfit. A very easy update and a more polished you!
