The start of September often heralds a feeling of new beginnings as we return to our usual routines after the Summer holidays. As we head towards Autumn many of us will be looking to update our wardrobes with some key pieces for the season ahead so, we’ve put together our guide to the top three items to buy now that will give your wardrobe an instant update.

The Print

Animal print has never really gone out of fashion but it is certainly out in full force this season.
Whether it’s a statement coat or a subtle belt, add a little animal print to your look now and instantly update your wardrobe.
Look out too for unusual prints in blues and pinks for those of you with a pinky (cool) undertone.
My top tip – go for leopard print – it’s a neutral and will work with ANY shade in your palette.

The Boot

One of the most wearable footwear trends to be seen on the catwalk for Autumn/Winter 2018 was the slouchy boot.
Perfect for tucking skinny jeans into or pairing with a midi skirt, they’re practical as well as stylish and available in an array of colours too.

The Colour

This season BROWN is the new black.
We love all shades of brown – it is such a versatile neutral and can be worn with many of your accent shades.
Giving a subtler contrast than black, brown works particularly well for you if you fall into the Soft, Warm and Light categories.
